Activision heeft zonet een allereerste trailer van het net aangekondigde Destiny 2 de wereld in gestuurd. Het gaat om een cinematische onthullingstrailer, al wordt er wel beloofd om op 17 mei effectief gameplaybeelden te tonen.

Een box shot van de Expansion Pass toont aan dat Destiny 2 ook naar de PC komt. De game komt ook naar PlayStation 4 en Xbox One en heeft 9 september als releasedatum gekregen.
